I am flying off to Shanghai tonight. 1.15am flight. The best part is that I haven't even finished packing.
When people ask me how I feel about this trip, I tell them that all I feel is a blank. In fact, I totally forgot that I was going for this trip until my colleague handed me the air ticket. I have been so swamped with work it isn't even funny at all.
For the last two weeks, I have been working late almost everyday and coming back to work on Saturdays. The rest of the time was spent tutoring (exams were yesterday), going for the EU film festival and visiting my grandma after she got back from the hospital. Throw in my low-key birthday celebration over the weekend to all this mish-mash and you have it. Swamped.
I am taking a break from work right now and I will try to see if I can ask for some time off to go home and pack. I haven't got a clue what to expect from Shanghai. All I know is that I am blindly following a group of girls and that I would be home on Sunday night. The first thing that would welcome me after that is a heavy meeting on A&P budget when I come in on Monday morning. Blank.
I sincerely hope that life is better for everyone else. *Raises eyebrows*
